专利说明:

Be arranged to displace the two fastening means in the guide rod and the baseboard synchronously between the end positions arranged at their ends, actuated by the operating controls placed on the support arm.
Each fastening means is suitably driven by a wire, which runs over end pulleys at the end positions of the foot rail of the handrail, which wires are arranged to be driven synchronously by the drive device. The required adjustment of the vertical position of the support device can then take place easily at the drive device.
Alternatively, a single wire may be used, which is then arranged to extend from the fastener in the guide rod along it to an end pulley and then via additional end pulleys back and forth as two wire sections along the baseboard and past the fastener in this and back to the guide rod and via an end pulley. along the guide rod past the fastener therein to an end pulley at the end of the handrail and back to the fastener, the fastener in the baseboard being fixedly connected to that of the wire parts which is movable in the same direction as the fastener in the guide rod. In this case, two wire parts coexist in each Iedstângen and the baseboard, which have the same dimensions.
For various reasons, it may be desirable to have different dimensions of the handrail and baseboard, e.g. if, for aesthetic reasons, a particularly slender handrail is desired. Then it is suitable to arrange a wire extending from one end of the fastener in the lead rod along it to an end pulley and then via further end pulleys back and forth as three wire sections along the baseboard and past the fastener therein and via an end pulley to the other end. of the fastener in the handrail, the fastener in the baseboard being fixedly connected to that of the three wire portions which is movable in the same direction as the fastener in the handrail. The handrail will then have only one wire part, namely one which is fixed in the fastening member Iedstângen.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wire and the wires respectively extend along the interior of the handrail and the baseboard and past the fastening means through one or more channels therein.
Brief description of the drawings The invention is further elucidated in the following with reference to the accompanying drawings, which schematically show different embodiments of devices according to the invention and in which Figure 1 is a side view, partly in section, of a preferred support device, which is arranged in a staircase ; Figure 2 is a side view of the support arm of the device, partly in section, with the guide bar and baseboard and the fastening members containing them shown in cross section; Figure 3 is a plan view along the line III-III in Figure 1 of the support arm with associated fasteners in Figure 2; and Figures 3 and 5 are two diagrams showing two alternative embodiments of the drive device of the support device with two wires and one wire, respectively.
Description of a preferred embodiment The support device shown in Fig. 1 is mounted against a wall along a staircase and has a handrail 1 and a baseboard 2. As shown in Fig. 2, the handrail 1 and the baseboard 2 are tubular and each provided with a continuous slot 3 resp. 4 and are screwed into the wall by means of screws 5. Inside the handrail 1 a short fastening member 6 with a rectangular cross section is slidably mounted. A connection 7 connects the fastening member 6 to a bracket 8 for a support arm 9. The bracket 8 encloses the handrail 1 with the exception of an opening for the screws 5. The same applies to the baseboard 2 inside which a short fastening member 11 is slidably mounted, which with a connection 12 is connected to a bracket 13 for a support 14, which supports the bracket 8 and the support arm 9.
The device described above can be connected to the handrail 1 and the baseboard 2 by inserting from their open ends with the fastening means 6 and 11 inside the handrail and the baseboard and the brackets 8 and 13 enclosing them and with the connections 7 and 12 located in the slots 3 and 4.
On a horizontal floor and with the handrail and baseboard horizontal, the horizontally movable device above with the support 14 had been directed vertically. With a vertical load of the support arm 9, no oblique load arises on the support 14 and the fastening member 11, so that the support device is fully usable on horizontal ground already in this condition.
On a sloping surface, in particular a staircase, as shown in Fig. 1, a vertical load on the support arm 9 results in a strong oblique load of the fastening member 11 in the baseboard 2, and if the disabled user becomes unbalanced and will hang heavily on the support arm, the oblique load considerable. The support device according to the invention must in such a case be stabilized effectively, which according to a preferred embodiment is shown in Fig. 1 and consists of an arrangement with a wire 20, which is attached to the upper part of the fastening member 6 and extends upwards to an end pulley 21 and further. to an end pulley 22, through a channel 23 fastening means 11, an end pulley 24, through a channel 25 fastening means 11, an end pulley 26, an end pulley 27, into the handrail 1, through a channel 28 in the fastening member 6, around an end pulley 29 and back to the fastening member 6, where the end of the wire 20 is fixed after tensioning the wire. The device is then aligned with the support 14 vertically, after which the wire in the fastener 11, which moves in the same direction as the fastener 6, is locked in the fastener 11. To drive the support device, an electric motor 30 is placed at the end pulley 29 for driving the wire 20 on usual way. The control of the drive of the wire 20 through the electric motor 30 takes place by means of operating controls 31 10 15 20 25 30 arranged on the support arm 9 connected to an electric circuit (not shown) with limit switches, which together with the electric motor and end pulleys are built into two shallow control cabinets 32,33. In order to facilitate the passage past the support arm 9, this is provided with a joint 35, which allows the support arm to swing up when it is passed.
As can be seen from Figs. 2 and 3, locking of a wire in the fastening means 6 and 11 is easy to achieve in that the wire is always accessible to locking screws 40 or the like through the slots 3 and 4.
A simpler arrangement for driving the support device can be provided with two wires 41 and 42, as shown in Fig. 4. One end of one of the wires 41 is fixed in the fastening member 6 in the handrail and extends around an end pulley 43 through a channel in the fastening member 6 to an end pulley 44 and back to the fastening member 6, where the end of the wire is fixed. In the same way, the wire 42 is fixed in the fastening member 11 in the baseboard and extends over end pulleys 45 and 46 via a channel in the fastening member 11.
For driving the device, an electric motor 47 is arranged to drive the wires 41 and 42 at the end pulleys 43 and 45 so that the fastening members 6 and 11 move in the same direction and with a built-in adjustment possibility for their mutual positions.
In the event that only one wire would fit in a slender handrail, this may be arranged so that one end of a wire 50 is fixed in the fastening member 6 in the handrail 1 and then extends around an end pulley 51 at one end of the handrail, an end pulley 52 at one end of the baseboard, through a channel in the fastener 11 to an end pulley 53 at the other end of the baseboard, back through a channel in the fastener 11 around an end pulley 54, back again through a channel in the fastener 11 to an end pulley 55, an end pulley 56 at The other end of the lead rod and into the handrail of the fastening member 6, where the wire is attached after tensioning the wire. An electric motor 57 is arranged to drive the wire 50 in the usual manner at the end pulley 51, and that of the three wire parts extending through the fastening means 11, which moves in the same direction as the fastening means 6, is locked to the fastening means 11.
The invention is of course not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown and described here, but can be modified in several ways within the scope of the invention defined by the claims. This applies in particular to the drive device for driving the two fastening means synchronously between its end positions, which can alternatively be based on a construction with chains or links.
Furthermore, the fastening means can be designed to allow their displacement through a curved handrail and baseboard.
